F A Q
We offer tapered, davit-arm, single-arm, double-arm and direct-burial designs, along with other project-specific configurations. The right type depends on the lighting layout, fixture position, installation method and architectural requirements.
6063-T6 is a common option for aluminum light poles. Other grades, including 6061-T6 where available, can be reviewed against the required strength, forming method, finish and approved project drawings. Confirm the alloy for the selected model before ordering.
Standard heights vary by model. For example, the YLDG-Z tapered series is listed at 3–12 m, while the YLDG-D davit-arm series is listed at 4–12 m, with custom options subject to design review. Check the relevant product page rather than assuming one height range applies to every pole.
A tapered pole is suitable when the fixture can be mounted at the top or with a separately specified bracket. An arm-mounted design positions the fixture away from the shaft. Choose the arrangement using the required outreach, fixture weight, mounting height and lighting layout.
The available installation method depends on the model. Anchor-base poles use a base plate and foundation bolts; direct-burial poles have an embedded shaft section. Foundation and embedment details must be checked against the site conditions and approved structural design.
Aluminum offers corrosion resistance, but the appropriate alloy, finish and maintenance plan depend on the site’s exposure. Share the project location and environmental conditions so the surface treatment and connection details can be reviewed.
Please provide the quantity, preferred pole type, mounting height, fixture weight and wind-exposed area, arm outreach if required, installation method, finish, delivery destination and any drawings or local design criteria. We can then confirm a suitable configuration and quotation scope.
The stated MOQ is 10 sets. The stated lead time is 15–25 working days after deposit and drawing approval. The final schedule should be confirmed in the quotation for the selected design and order quantity.
