Project Overview
This 2023 Australian project involved 150 segmented aluminum light poles with a nominal height of 6 m.
- Location: Australia
- Year: 2023
- Product: Segmented aluminum light pole
- Nominal height: 6 m
- Project quantity: 150 sets
A segmented configuration can simplify transport and site handling where a one-piece pole is less practical. The final joint design, assembly procedure and installation method must be based on approved project drawings.
Design and Installation Considerations
The pole design should be checked using the project wind speed, luminaire and bracket effective projected area, mounting height, terrain category and local structural requirements. Foundation dimensions and anchor details must be determined for the actual soil and loading conditions rather than selected from a generic table.
Surface finish, fasteners, drainage and electrical access should also be coordinated for the installation environment. Where the project is near the coast, review our coastal corrosion protection guide.
