Anodized and Powder-Coated Finish Options
Anodizing and polyester powder coating can be specified according to the required appearance and exposure conditions. Available options include natural anodized finishes and project-specific RAL powder-coat colors.
Anodizing Treatment
Electrochemical Oxide Layer
The first stage employs sulfuric acid anodizing (AA15–AA25 class) to grow a dense aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) layer directly from the substrate. Unlike coatings that sit on the surface, anodizing creates a metallurgically bonded oxide layer that becomes an integral part of the aluminum — it cannot peel, flake, or delaminate.
Sulfuric acid electrolytic oxidation, 18–22°C bath temperature, 1.0–1.5 A/dm² current density
10–25 μm (AA15 to AA25 per ISO 7599), pore-sealed for maximum corrosion resistance
Salt spray test ≥ 500 hours as standalone treatment; acts as superior primer for powder coating
Natural metallic silver finish with subtle luster; preserves the authentic aluminum appearance
300+ HV (Vickers) — significantly harder than the base aluminum substrate
Excellent UV stability, non-conductive surface, maintains metallic thermal conductivity for heat dissipation
Powder Coating
Electrostatic Spray Application
The second stage applies a thermosetting polyester powder coating via electrostatic spray deposition (ESD). Charged powder particles are attracted to the grounded aluminum substrate, ensuring uniform coverage including recessed areas. The coated pole is then cured at 180–200°C for 15–20 minutes, creating a cross-linked polymer film.
Corona charging electrostatic spray, 60–80 kV, followed by thermal curing at 190°C / 15 min
60–80 μm (uniform across all surfaces), compliant with QUALICOAT Class 2
Cross-cut test Grade 0 (ISO 2409) — no detachment at any intersection
50 kg·cm direct impact (ISO 6272), no cracking or adhesion loss
Full RAL palette (200+ colors), custom color matching available with ΔE ≤ 1.0
QUV accelerated test 2000+ hours, gloss retention ≥ 50%, ΔE ≤ 2.0, no chalking
Key Advantages of Aluminum Single Arm Poles
The pole, arm, base plate and mounting details are configured for structural requirements, installation access and long-term outdoor use. Performance depends on the approved design, finish, site exposure and maintenance plan.
Corrosion-Proof Construction
ADC12 aluminum alloy naturally resists rust and corrosion. Combined with our marine-grade powder coating, these poles deliver 25+ years of maintenance-free performance, even in coastal environments.
High Wind Resistance
Engineered and tested to withstand wind speeds up to 160 km/h (Category 2 hurricane). Tapered shaft design with optimized wall thickness ensures structural integrity under extreme conditions.
UV-Stable Powder Coating
ADC12 aluminum alloy naturally resists rust and corrosion. Combined with our marine-grade powder coating, these poles deliver 25+ years of maintenance-free performance, even in coastal environments.
Integrated Wiring Chamber
Built-in base door compartment provides secure, weatherproof access to wiring, fuses, and photocells. Simplifies installation and maintenance without requiring separate junction boxes.
Lightweight & Strong
At one-third the weight of steel poles, aluminum reduces shipping costs by up to 60% and eliminates the need for heavy lifting equipment during installation. Same strength, fraction of the weight.
Easy Installation
Pre-drilled base plates with standard bolt patterns fit existing foundations. Slip-fitter or tenon top options accommodate all major luminaire brands. Complete installation in under 30 minutes.
