Electrochemical Oxide Layer

The first stage employs sulfuric acid anodizing (AA15–AA25 class) to grow a dense aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) layer directly from the substrate. Unlike coatings that sit on the surface, anodizing creates a metallurgically bonded oxide layer that becomes an integral part of the aluminum — it cannot peel, flake, or delaminate.

Process:

Sulfuric acid electrolytic oxidation, 18–22°C bath temperature, 1.0–1.5 A/dm² current density

Layer Thickness:

10–25 μm (AA15 to AA25 per ISO 7599), pore-sealed for maximum corrosion resistance

Corrosion Resistance:

Salt spray test ≥ 500 hours as standalone treatment; acts as superior primer for powder coating

Aesthetic:

Natural metallic silver finish with subtle luster; preserves the authentic aluminum appearance

Hardness:

300+ HV (Vickers) — significantly harder than the base aluminum substrate

Excellent UV stability, non-conductive surface, maintains metallic thermal conductivity for heat dissipation

Powder Coated Finish

Electrostatic Spray Application

The second stage applies a thermosetting polyester powder coating via electrostatic spray deposition (ESD). Charged powder particles are attracted to the grounded aluminum substrate, ensuring uniform coverage including recessed areas. The coated pole is then cured at 180–200°C for 15–20 minutes, creating a cross-linked polymer film.

Process:

Corona charging electrostatic spray, 60–80 kV, followed by thermal curing at 190°C / 15 min

Layer Thickness:

60–80 μm (uniform across all surfaces), compliant with QUALICOAT Class 2

Adhesion:

Cross-cut test Grade 0 (ISO 2409) — no detachment at any intersection

Impact Resistance:

50 kg·cm direct impact (ISO 6272), no cracking or adhesion loss

Color Range:

Full RAL palette (200+ colors), custom color matching available with ΔE ≤ 1.0

Weathering:

QUV accelerated test 2000+ hours, gloss retention ≥ 50%, ΔE ≤ 2.0, no chalking
